With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history: travelling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.

Matthew McConaughey stars as ex-pilot-turned-farmer Cooper, with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn and Sir Michael Caine amongst the all-star cast.

The premiere of Insterstellar Live, at the Royal Albert Hall, is widely considered to be one of the most spectacular, moving and unforgettable live film events ever staged. A pre-concert talk, introduced by Prof Stephen Hawking, featured Prof Brian Cox talking to Prof Kip Thorne, director Christopher Nolan and composer Hans Zimmer about the science and inspirations behind the film. Nolan and Sir Michael Caine then introduced the performance, which featured Zimmer and a hand-picked orchestra together with organ soloist Roger Sayer.

Further performances of Interstellar Live have been staged at the KKL, Lucerne, Switzerland.

Interstellar Live is rights-owned and licensed by Warner Bros.
