Armando Iannucci’s brutal comedy satire, released in 2017, tells the story of the aftermath of Stalin’s demise as the remaining members of the Secretariat of the Communist Party jostle for position and power. Hilarious and horrifying, the film features pitch-perfect performances from an all-star cast; a comedy of terrors.

The score, by Iannucci regular Christopher Willis (Veep, The Personal History of David Copperfield), is a masterpiece of pastiche and drama; Willis immersed himself in the music of great 20th century Russia symphonists including Shostakovich, Weinberg and Myaskovsky.

The Death of Stalin - In Concert is a Big Screen Live production in association with Entertainment One Group.
