Historical period drama Downton Abbey made its way into the hearts of audiences around the world, with record-breaking viewing numbers and garnering many accolades and awards. Over six television series, originally airing from 2010-2016, it depicts the high dramas of the aristocratic Crawley family and their domestic servants.

Created by Julian Fellowes it stars actors Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith, Penelope Wilton, Jim Carter,  Elizabeth McGovern and Laura Carmichael as well as many other famous faces.

Big Screen Live is the lead producer on the official Music from Downton Abbey concert,  hosted by Jim Carter as his character Carson, with series composer John Lunn at the piano. The premiere was staged as an outdoor concert at Highclere Castle, Hampshire – the “real” Downton Abbey – in June 2019.
